Trophy winter ice fishing in the untouched Swedish taiga. One snowmobile per guest, daily expeditions to frozen wilderness lakes, and a private mountain chalet with sauna. All-inclusive for a group of 4 to 6 anglers.

Overview

A premier winter angling adventure in untouched Swedish taiga and mountain foothills, delivered in an all-inclusive private-lodge format. A scenic 210 km transfer takes you from Lycksele Airport into pure wilderness, where each guest gets their own snowmobile, continuous guiding by a certified professional, and daily expeditions across frozen lakes targeting Arctic char, wild brown trout and grayling. Days end with hearty campfire meals and evening relaxation in the chalet's private sauna.

    • (Custom dates for private groups of 4+ guests can be arranged to match the Stockholm–Lycksele flight schedule)

  • Target Species: Arctic char (highland plateaus and taiga lakes), wild brown trout, and European grayling.
  • Location & Accommodation: Private foothill chalet (210 km from Lycksele Airport). Features 4 bedrooms (capacity up to 8 guests) and a private sauna. Your guides stay in a dedicated bedroom, fully managing daily hospitality, safety, trail navigation, sled maintenance, and home cooking.

  • Riding Format: 1 snowmobile per guest (individual machine) + guide's machine. Radial routes covering groomed trails and backcountry powder to isolated wilderness lakes.
  • Group Size: Standard party of 4 guests, comfortably expandable to 5–6 guests.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 (Thursday) — Arrival & transfer to the chalet

Meet & greet at Lycksele Airport (LYC). For evening arrivals: dinner at a local Lycksele restaurant followed by a comfortable 210 km transfer to the foothills. For early or daytime arrivals: direct 210 km transfer to the chalet with a hot homemade dinner on site. Check-in and evening rest.

Day 2 (Friday) — Gear fitting & first ice expedition

Homemade breakfast by your guide. Fitting of professional cold-weather gear, safety briefing and test drive. Expedition launch onto the ice: active search and ice fishing for Arctic char and trout, finished with a piping-hot taiga lunch by the campfire. Evening return to the chalet, sauna and dinner.

Day 3 (Saturday) — Isolated lake chain

Chalet breakfast. Snowmobile run via a new scenic route to an isolated lake chain. A full day dedicated to trophy char and grayling, with an open-fire lunch prepared by the guide. Return to base, sauna, rest and dinner.

Day 4 (Sunday) — Mountain trails & wild brown trout

Breakfast, then a ride along distant mountain trails toward remote waters in search of wild brown trout. Final day of active ice fishing, hot field lunch on the ice. Return to the chalet, sauna, celebratory farewell dinner and tackle pack-down.

Day 5 (Monday) — Departure

Breakfast at the chalet, then a 210 km ground transfer back to Lycksele Airport for your return flight.
