Sami Heli-Comfort: Arctic Char Trophy Expedition
Overview
Sami Heli-Comfort is designed for anglers who want uncompromising trophy fishing without the wilderness camp. Each day features fast, light radial flights from the Sami village to high-alpine plateaus and river canyons, targeting Arctic char, trout and grayling — followed by a guaranteed evening return to the cottage, sauna and a signature Sami dinner. It's the same helicopter access and private-group format as our wilderness expeditions, only with premium comfort as a baseline.
Highlights
Day 1 — Arrival & boat into the Sami village
Arrival at Arvidsjaur Airport (AJR), road transfer to the Jäkkvik area and boat transfer to the Sami settlement. Check-in, a welcome dinner at the Sami restaurant, and evening tackle setup.
Day 2 — Radial flight #1 to the river canyons
Sami breakfast, then the first radial helicopter flight of the trip into remote river canyons. Eight hours of guided fishing, a wilderness riverside lunch, then a helicopter return to the village for sauna and restaurant dinner.
